The American Association of Orthodontists recommends visiting an orthodontist around age seven – the prime age for enrollment in our Murdock Minions Club. By this age, most children have a mix of baby and adult teeth, making it easier for the orthodontist to diagnose and correct some early tooth and jaw problems when needed. At your child’s first consultation appointment, pictures and a panoramic X-ray are taken of your child’s mouth, along with a thorough evaluation performed by Dr. John or Dr. Sean.

These visits are a courtesy to our families and are provided at no charge. Any necessary photos or X-rays needed in our office or future checkup visits with us are also done as a courtesy service to you until the point when necessary treatment is required.

There are some fantastically FUN aspects to being part of the Murdock minions club. At their initial consultation, patients are presented with the following items:
